At this short-format workshop, we will teach the history of painting with foraged pigments and discuss their foraging process, both in Upstate New York as well as Colombia. Participants will then mix their own paints using provided pigments and binder. We will guide the group through a short visualization exercise to help them identify what they’d like to paint, followed by sketching and planning. Participants will then paint independently with while we answer questions and provide guidance as needed. Registration is required for this program.
