"CYCLE OF LIFE" ARCHIVAL PRINT ON COLD PRESS COTTON PAPER

from $20.00

“Cycle of Life”

Fine Art Print on 100% cotton archival paper. Signed by Hayley Dayis.

Available in 5x7 inches, 11x14 inches, 18×24 inches, or 26x36 inches

Numbered edition of 100. Original work is foraged Colombian pigment on unprimed cotton canvas. Print comes with certificate of authenticity. One inch border.

Artist’s description:

A baby bird hit our kitchen window while I was thinking about what to paint. He inspired this commemoration of death, for its natural place in the cycle of life, and for its necessary role in rich ecosystems where creatures, plants and elements are balanced with each other in an intricate dance beyond full comprehension.
These flowering plants are all growing where we live in Colombia—tobacco, pink rain lily, dragon’s-head lily, orange tree blossom and pink rose. Also featuring the Silver Agriope spider and Emesis butterfly, who both capture the imagination.
